As a work around, I have created two "Sub-Groups" to my catering list of items.
Food Items
Allergy Altert
The user selects what lunch type they can order from the food Items
Executive Lunch or Standard Lunch. Then the number of people its for.
Then, if there are is anyone with an Allergy, they can "add" that allergy to the order as if it were a zero cost food item. It's just so the person on reception that the food order email goes to, can alert the outside catering firm and they can alter the food selection accordingly.
Absolutely this!!

Its not an ideal way of doing it.
