Permanently assign desk to employee without assuming they will be in the office every day
We have staff with personal work spaces that are always assigned to them. Currently they're configured as flexi desks with no end date which is effective for reserving the space for them. There is a gap, however, that always shows these staff as working in the office even if they haven't checked in. Further, it would be helpful if those staff could even plan out days that they don't expect to be in the office on the calendar.
Currently if the user indicates they're working remotely it releases the flexi desk as well even if the group is configured NOT to release the flexi desk making it impractical to use the existing functionality effectively. Correcting this would be very helpful to allowing users to accurately indicate their work location.

This is also a big issue for our company. We have over 700 assigned spaces and also all groups have the ability to book on weekends.
We could turn off the visibility of users to find each other, but that is a high demand feature.
We could create individual groups for each user and their seat, but that is not sustainable with over 700 assigned seats.
Honestly, even the status defaulting to working remotely and the user being able to opt in would be better than the current state.
