I would like the ability to duplicate a group with the same settings instead of creating one from scratch
In order to save time, it would be great to be able to duplicate a group in order to recover all the settings already defined, including all the email templates (which are currently tedious to do).
We could save time by duplicating an existing group and change just some parameters, instead of creating one from scratch

We had a similar issue when setting up a new building. I had to create approx. 30 new groups for this and it was a long and tedious process to essentially do this process 30 times.
It would be great to allow creation of a template master group and then be able to essentially have a copy function to allow admins to set one set of variables at the master group and then copy to the child elements (a bit like cascading style sheets inheriting a master).
To flesh this out further, it would then be good if you are having to create dozens of resources (desks / rooms), to able to apply to a range of resources without having to go in and assign these to resources one-by-one.
It would make the system so much more flexible for the Premises Admins and allow them to focus on more fruitful tasks, rather than spending days getting this setup.

Sounds like a very interesting suggestion.
Must be a pain if you have to do it over and over.
Can you tell me a bit more about why you duplicate groups? How often do you need to do this and what’s the trigger for this to happen?
