We would like functionality where an individual would be able to place themselves on a waitlist queue for managed rooms.
Today an individual can request an available room and multiple requests may be received up to the point where a request is accepted for the room at a particular time. Other requests would be placed in waitlist.
Functionality for the user to see that they are on the waitlist and their position in the waitlist queue would be helpful.
The ability for a user to request a room even though it is already approved, in order to be placed on the Waitlist queue will also be helpful functionality

Currently everyone can send a booking and even if there's no avalibility it still goes through. No e-mail notification goes to the booker telling them the request has gone to the waitlist.
It would be great if admins could disable the waitlist or if the system was generating an e-mail saying - Your booking is now on the waitlist because there were no rooms available.
