desk bumping notice
when i come into the office (once a week or so) i often forget to check in my desk. the reminder email comes 5 minutes before the booking is cancelled. as checking in takes at least a minute or two that gives a 3 minute window. why not send the reminder an hour earlier or just send reminders at hourly intervals from the start of the day. i understand some people might book for periods of less than a day but 5 minutes is not enough!
in addition if i forget i can not re-book the desk as it says it needs cleaning but as i am the same person booking could this rule be by passed?
consequently i book another desk which i do not sit at just in case someone else comes in to mine and so people know i have been in the office (assume needed for covid reporting reasons).
