Our master system for space data is Planon. Changes to the space data are made in this system and posted to Condeco. Unfortunately it is still possible to create space information in Condeco without it being created in Planon and this has resulted in duplicate data (see ENSD-52156 : DeskAzureProd || API Creating Duplicate groups). This results in a very poor user experience because the users can make duplicate desk or room bookings.

It is requested that Condeco consider:
• Preventing hierarchy information from being created in Condeco if it is mastered elsewhere OR
• Warning the user creating or modifying hierarchy data that the data is mastered else where and asking for confirmation to proceed OR
• Allowing the ability to add/change hierarchy data to be configurable OR
• Some combination of the above! OR
• Something else!
