   We dont use the desk booking feature, so would like this 'today/ homepage' removed as well. It's creates confusion when a user goes into the system.

   Yes, this is an issue for us, especially when we need to make updates (add/remove/amend items) for each service item. We are required to go into each item and update individually, which is extremely time consuming. Some form of bulk upload option would be ideal.
