Not all users have company mobile devices or personal devices that are compliant with the company, enabling check-in via mobile and web is essential.

Understand the design and purpose of QR check-in however an option would be useful for a few reasons.

1. Users need to have a company phone or Company security on their phone to be able to use the Condeco app. Not all users have Company phones or are able to have the app on their phones.

2. Depending on the behaviour of staff there may not be a need to reinforce checking in while physically at the desk (a togglable option would be useful in this case)

3. Ease of adoption for users who are transitioning to using Condeco desk booking. Encouraging the use of checking in without putting too many limitations on how you can check in while still being able to put up a Desk number sign featuring the QR Code.

4. If someone knows they will be coming into the office but won't be arriving until after the check-in period they will lose the space they have booked.

I would also like to see this as a feature.

Make it an option to lock it down to QR rather than a requirement.

I would also suggest having a disclaimer on the enable QR button so you have a warning that it will restrict Check ints to via QR only.

Hi. I think this an essential capability within the condeco check-in process for personal spaces. In some cases employees wont be issued with a company issued device or have forgotten to bring in their device withthem on the day. Some employees also dont wish to utilise their own personal device to check-into personal space. Therefore there is a need for this feature to be enabled for a standard user in condeco.

QR code check-in is designed to help ensure that a person is at the space when checking in. Having an option to bypass this check, by allowing them to check-in via the web app would defeat the purpose of the feature. Please can you comment on why you would want both QR check in enforced for mobile app users, but web app users to be able to check in from anywhere?

Many staff do not wish to install the Condeco App on their personal device so require a different means of checking in.
Note that check-in using browser is available when logged in as an Admin

This functionality would help our colleagues in the workplace who may not want to use the mobile app or have forgotten/lost their mobile device on the day of their personal spaces/meeting spaces booking. Please can this feature be added to condeco very soon, so that users wouldn't have to rely on system administrators to check them in on their behalf.

Hi - Having this feature for our employees to either check-in through the mobile app or through the webpage of condeco would help improve the process. In such cases whereby a user may forget/lost their smartphone and is unable to check in another way and would rely on a system admin to check a user in on their behalf. Please can this dual check-in option be enabled for a standard user.

agree. SOME users would like to use QR code to at-once book a desk or to check in, but this should be an option when enabled, not the only option...

Agreed. As strange as it sounds, some of our user base may not use a smart phone. And they may not want to request an admin to check them in. We understand the strategy for enforcing the check-in feature. We like the QR function but it limits check-in options. Can customers have the option to allow web portal and mobile check ins as well?

When the QR code is enabled, the online check in is disabled. This presumes that all staff have access to a smart phone to check in. Surely no business can guarantee that all staff have a smart phone? It needs to be enabled to do either at the same time or surely the QR codes aren't usable.
