Mobile app for the Vendor Portal
I'd like to see Condeco add a mobile app for the Vendor Portal. We have may staff that must stay a ****** of ever-changing room reservations and service needs. Having a mobile app that was designed to display and allow interaction from a smartphone while in the field away from a PC would be very helpful.
I realize the website can be accessed, but it can be challenging to navigate and use properly on a small phone screen. We find apps, when properly designed, just function better and would in this case benefit or mobile staff helping them to stay…
26 votesWe are looking at making the vendor dashboard responsive on a mobile or tablet. It will be a simplified UI and so not all functionality will be available in this view.

Catering should be able to change the status from Collected to "x" in the event of a mistake
When Catering marks a request as "Collected" it's filtered out into a different view, but if that change was made in error, there is no way to change it back from "Collected" to any of the other status options. Those status buttons should remain on the request window and Catering should have the ability to toggle between them.

Monthly view on the Vendor Dashboard
Would it be possible for the Vendors to view a month's worth of jobs and print these on the Vendor Dashboard so that they can plan appropriate resourcing.

The condeco server should pickup the local customer time & date and not a UTC time for vendor management/logging.
We had that issue already discussed with the condeco technical support:
The timezone for logging/managing vendor things appears to be fixed as UTC time (according to the support) and not our local time zone.
Logging for print etc. are set to UTC time zone, which appears always as a different time than our local time zone. This need to be a consistent process for logging/managing the time zones server wide/account setting wise (!) and not for every part of the system…

Delete vendor contacts
Currently vendors that are no longer active simply become 'inactive' which makes the lists grow very long over time. Since for a vendor to be deleted there is a charge incurred, it would be great for admins to be able to delete profiles as vendors come and go.

Vendor Dashboard Dropdowns
Could the front page of the vendor dashboard include a sub-group filter next to service type that would allow the results shown to be filtered by group, for example:
Service Type = Catering
Sub-Group = FoodThus the results set would only show food and not anything else, as long as you have this setup like this in the system configuration.
It's available in the printer friendly version, thus should also be shown in the main web app too.

Vendor User Permissions
At the moment we are having to give Vendors Location Administrator rights so they can update bookings.
It would be good if there was a vendor level in the user permissions so that they are restricted to being only able to update facilities for which service group they belong (IE catering can only update catering items nothing else)We are also having to give Vendors location admin permissions for other locations as when a booking is connected they need this level of access so they can update their home location booking.

There is a new linked room symbol on the latest update. Can this be shown on the Vendor Dashboard also.

Add the option to exclude Saturdays and Sundays for catering
Excluding Saturdays and Sundays when catering items.
All catering needs to be requested 24 hours in advance.The system thinks the weekend (Saturday & Sunday) are working days, so if you want to request catering for Monday, this can be done until Sunday morning instead of Friday morning. Is it possible to change it in the system

Vendors are logged out too fast
Vendors are logged out too fast, and when an iPad is displayed in a common area like a kitchen for instance, the user (Chef) may not always be around to refresh and re-login. There should be the possibility of determining up to an 8-hour period of time before logging out vendors.

To have the ability to configure the Dashboard so that columns can be removed if they are not required.

Give vendor the ability to refuse a catering booking
When the vendor receives a new booking, he can only take charge of it (accept, on its way ...), but he can't refuse it (for exemple if the informations are wrong, if an article is temporary unavailable ...).
Currently the administrators can refuse the booking of a room with an explanation sent by email. Can we do the same thing for catering ?7 votes -
Ability to set a time frame in the day for a catering item. E.g. Continental Breakfast available from 8am-11am
Currently you can only set dates for when an item is available, it would be great if you can set a time for certain items as we would rather not have breakfast offered for the whole day.
Example:
Our catering hours are only from 09:00-17:00 however rooms can be booked outside of this time. There is currently no way of locking this down and therefore currently users can order catering outside of this time which can lead to issues.Additionally, particular items such as breakfast should only be available for certain hours.

Ability to disable single Days for the calculation of Cut-Off Times. I.e. if the Vendor doesn't work on Weekends, the Cut-Off Times are only calculated for the Day's Mon thru Fri.

Highlight changes that were made in the booking modification emails
When a vendor receives a booking modification email, they do not know what changes were made to the booking - if the change could be highlighted in the email it would make it possible for them to figure out what changed. This is an extremely important feature for our catering team.

The idea would be to have a Global Vendor who can see in the dashboard all requests of all vendors of every category.

Allow regular users to be Vendors
Our IT and Catering staff are both users and vendors. They currently need to have multiple logins to perform all of their activities. Allow assigning a regular user to a vendor, then merge the vendor portal as a new section of the web app instead of its own separate one. That way a user can pick if they're booking a room or managing services.

Upload a function schedule sheet to a booking
Our catering vendor team put together a large function sheet in a word doc for large events.
This doc lists menus, service times, facilities required etc.
An administrator them has to manually update the booking with the information on Condeco.
What would ve good is the ability to upload the document to Condeco and the requirements to auto populate the booking. This would save a lot of administration time.8 votes -
Vendor Dashboard Status Reset
It would be good to allow the vendor manager to reset or go back a step to change the status of items on the dashboard
Sometimes the vendor has made an error and changed the status of the wrong room ie delivered and then can't change back to in-progress etc.7 votes -
Check boxes for Catering Items and IT Equipment instead one adding 1 item at a time.
I would like to have check boxes for Catering Items and IT Equipment so a user does not need to add one item at a time. Example would be Water, Soda, Coffee a check box next to each item and that gets added to the room booking instead of having to add Water, then add coffee. etc. Do this for all catering items same for IT Equipment. if a user books a room they want to be able check off a laptop, projector, screen, Video Conference instead of having to add them one at a time.
