  1. Scheduled Automatic Reboot of Screens

    Currently, we have someone who will reboot all of our room screens about once a week, as they often have issues after a period of time.

    If it were possible to force a reboot at a scheduled time (from the admin console), it would aim to resolve a few issues we are having:

    • Software updates do not begin by themselves (only begin after a reboot)
    • Stale/stuck meetings can refresh in the evening when not in use
    • Flush the memory (perhaps this is why the screens are freezing in the first place)

  2. View all screen's MAC address from admin portal and also search for a specific MAC address

    We would like to be able to view all the screens’s MAC address from the admin portal and also search for a specific MAC address.
    Also, can you display the MAC address of a screen through the setup interface. Only the IP address is shown.
    It will ease the troubleshooting.

    Without this information, we need to remove the screen from the wall or retrieve from our purchase record the MAC address from the serial number

  3. Provide the IP address of each panel on the same page in the portal as the MAC address

    Can you please provide the IP address of each panel on the same page in the portal as the MAC address? This information would assist troubleshooting on network issues especially what we face connectivity issue of a panel with the cloud.

  4. Have the panels auto-reboot if they do not detect network connectivity.

    When we have a power failure, the brief 1 second before the generator kicks in brings all devices down. The panels are POE, so when our network switches are back in a second, the panels are immediately restarted. However, without the full network restarted to configure ports for internet, the devices are not able to detect internet and thus they are left with 'Contact your system administrator'. This requires us to manually reboot each device via local hands which is both tedious and untimely where staff are expecting rooms to be reserved for their early meetings.

    On the Condeco V2 Room Screen should have a delete booking button to delete the future bookings.
    To delete the future booking user currently needs to do it from the Portal, Add-In or Mobile.

    This feature is already available as part of our new Android-based screen software for V2 screens working with the Connect Screen Manager.

    It won’t be available of any Windows CE based screens.

    Please contact you Customer Success Manager to discuss options on how to upgrade.

  6. Notified by email if a screen is not responding

    It should be possible to be notified by email if a screen is not responding : when a screen do not contact the Condeco Application after x minutes, we would like to receive an email from Condeco to be notified.

  7. Remote Access to Condeco Screens

    Enable remote access for configuration/troubleshooting of Condeco screens. Either with OS functionality (p.e. mstsc) or application functionality (Condeco Screen Admin).

    Preferred topics regarding config/troubleshooting are
    - Change of Network Configuration
    - Change of Config File or Config File Settings
    - Installation of certificates

    Export functionality – Additional fields have been included to export the device columns information.
    Room Name, floor name, building, location and country.
    Mac address, calendar settings, last heartbeat, application version and device settings.

  9. Better options for generating screen reports

    I would like the ability generate a customer report for all of our android room signs. The report should include options for MAC addresses, IP address, sign name, location, status, firmware version, profile installed, etc. The current portal provides some of this information, but one has to go to several menus to view what’s available.

    I’d like the option to see this info and download it in one place.

  11. Mac Address code

    Please can you create a code on the desk readers to display the Mac Addresses? If I have a number of desk readers not working - support always asks for MAC addresses, and I absolutely detest take the screens apart for the address.

    We’ve recently introduced a special admin PIN which can be entered onto the screen to show details such as its MAC address, ResourceID and version information. Simply enter the PIN “A40E11” on the device.

    You’ll need to be on firmware version 1.1.4 so please contact Condeco Support if you need assistance updating your screens.

  12. Central Management console which can show status of all screens, change config settings on screen, reboot, update firmware etc.

    Central Console showing all screens in Enterprise, allowing view of status/operation and able to: remotely
    a) Update firmware
    b) Change config settings of screen (including background image)
    c) Reboot a screen
    d) Change power-save timing for screen
    e) Remote control screen?

  13. Screen Health reports need to show more detail and they should be sent regularly

    We receive one reports at 1am daily. This report mentions the number of issues and warnings, this report should show exactly which screens have issues and warnings and should be sent at specific times.

    It would also be beneficial to have APIs available so these issues and warnings can be integrated with ServiceNow.

    Screen Health emails are configurable – Admin can now configure a time to receive an email.
    Prerequisite :
    Tick to select a custom time to receive updates, and enter the desired time in the box.
    How it works:
    Select the desired time in the box. Emails are sent on the hour or the half-hour closest to the chosen time. If no custom time is selected, emails are sent at 00:00. All times are UTC.

    Emails are changed as we don’t have issue and warnings in the dashboard moreover we have build a new dashboard to make it more self supportable

  14. Ability to reorder room names in drop down menus in the web portal

    In the Condeco Connect web portal, I use the drop down menus to refine my search to list rooms on a specific floor, however the floor names are not sorted alphabetically or chronologically in the menu. There are 8 levels in our office, and the order is all over the place. It would be good if you could click the column heading names to sort by Status / Room Name / Floor etc.

    View List for v2 rooms screen and v3 desks screen: The device list can be filtered using the dropdown boxes across the top: Based on Room names
    Device Type: Select a device type e.g. v3 Desk booking screen or v2 Meeting Room screen, etc.
    Category: You can choose to view All devices or those flagged as Heartbeat not received or Software update available.
    Country / Location / Building / Floor: Filter devices by their country, location, building and floor.

  15. The Connect V2 screen doesn't have any provision to enter network proxy

    The Connect V2 screen doesn't have any provision to enter network proxy.
    There are options to configure it over DHCP, static IP and WiFi but client's that are using Proxy for their network are not able to consider Connect V2 for their environment.

  17. Two levels of admin

    Enable two levels of admin, local admin and global admin. Much like Condeco Enterprise, so local admins can make changes to the top portion of the left column in the portal, but not the Settings portion (Calendar Settings, Screen Settings, Sccreen Theme & User Access)

  18. To make all check in options available in the same time

    Currently, if the QR code check-in option is enabled, all the rest are disabled. We would like to have all options (via QR Code, via Web and via Condeco App) are available at the same time and can be de-/activated separately by all admins (global, country, location, group).

    When QR codes for check in was enabled in the Condeco application it automatically prevented check in from the web application. The intention was to prevent users from securing a resource unless they were physically in the office. However, some customers have fed back that not all users are able to gain access to the Condeco mobile application to check in.


    We have added a new checkbox to Global Setup that allows customers to enable the ability to check in to a resource from the web application even when QR codes are set up.

  20. Disable WLAN on Room screen

    Customer should be able to disable the WLAN connection and only use PoE for the Room Screens. The disablement should be done on software level and also on the screen it self, manually disconnecting the WLAN chip.
