An error occurred while saving the comment Peter Scobbie commentedAre you talking about the Room Setup field or the Setup Time field?

An error occurred while saving the comment Peter Scobbie commentedIf you look at the new desk screen coming next year, it suggests that a feature such as adaptive booking periods are coming to Enterprise.
I'd like to see the same default booking periods as the Room Groups applied to Desk Groups, to allow selections of 15 / 30 / 45 mins up to 2 hours or even customization to whatever the customer deems (in 15 min increments).
Much better to have this than just AM / PM as this is just too restrictive for most companies, especially if an individual is coming to another building for a meeting and just needs a desk for say 30 mins either side of their room booking.

We are looking at making the vendor dashboard responsive on a mobile or tablet. It will be a simplified UI and so not all functionality will be available in this view.
Please feel free to add comments to this Idea on what you would like to see.
Thanks,
Richard.

An error occurred while saving the comment Peter Scobbie commentedUsers could go via the Advanced Grid within the add-in to help visualise what is available across the estate and those rooms they have access to.
Users should also be educated that certain service items have added time that is applied to either side of the booking or only one side depending on what has been set), so that they know to watch out for this when reserving a room.

An error occurred while saving the comment Peter Scobbie commentedAgree. It should allow printing passes without 'arriving' the visitor.

An error occurred while saving the comment Peter Scobbie commentedIronically this exists (Visitor Company) in the visitors table in the database, so should be quite easy to surface on the Visitors Management Page. Meeting Title already exists, but not company name.
Another entry which would be good here would be the Meeting Type (such as External or Internal or any custom versions you have configured).

An error occurred while saving the comment Peter Scobbie commentedI believe the approach Condeco will be taking from a discussion I last had from them will be to tie into 3rd party Visitor Management Systems via their Visitor API.
This way they can leverage the capabilities of companies who do this functionality as their bread and butter.
I am currently reviewing several VMS for this very purpose and look forward to getting Condeco connected to this system to leverage their full capabilities to deliver a unified visitor experience.

The error messages are indeed not clear and we often face this problem in our business. Unless you are an a experienced user and have been shown what this means before, it is always a bit pointless and often generates a support call.
I do agree in some scenarios that setup and clean down time shouldn't be applied if the services are added within the booking time frame, but in some cases, the services are added at the start and collected at the end of the meeting where this needs to be added.
I have asked this many times and the answer I receive every time is that it's inordinately complex to design this login into the system. Personally coding something like this wouldn't be too difficult if you were to discuss with service vendors and reception teams about how this should and could be implemented.
